Ernesto Villarreal - instrumentalist & composer

I don't have much to say about myself other than I'm my music's humble servant.

I play a variety of stringed instruments, many crafted by dear friends of mine.

I've performed with metal bands, acoustic ensembles, and orchestras; I've performed at coffee shops, concert halls, theaters, and medieval festivals; I've had the pleasure of performing with my friends in musicals and just jamming in our backyards.

I am particularly fond of musical elegance... old and ancient, new and contemporary.

I value and appreciate technique and style, but not so much as an honest and authentic effort in creating what speaks to the creator.
